En hybridant bande magnétique et branche morte, il crée des sculptures organo-technologiques qui évoquent un monde après l’effondrement. Le choix du bonsaï, loin d’être anodin, rappelle que cet arbre miniaturisé est déjà, en soi, une construction humaine — un artefact du vivant, fruit d’une longue tradition de contrôle esthétique sur la nature. Djeff pousse cette logique jusqu’à l’absurde : ici, le vivant n’est plus qu’un souvenir, et le support de la mémoire – la bande magnétique – devient feuillage.
